Peanut Butter Cookies
This is my version my Grandma's recipe for peanut butter cookies.
1 Cup Butter Flavored Crisco Shortening
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 Beaten Medium or Large Eggs
1 Cup Peanut Butter
3 Cups Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
If you use self rising flour, omit the Baking Soda.
Cream together Shortning, Sugar, Baking Soda and Vanilla. Cream in Eggs. Stir in Peanut Butter. Gradually add in the flower.
Form into 3/4 inch balls & press lightly with fork. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. On a moderate oven (350-375).
Makes 4 to 6 dozen.
